I do so respect Olbermann, and love to hear his articulate deliveries on important issues. But, I am not ready yet to hang Obama out to dry, and this all seems like Monday morning quarterbacking. Fact is, the American populous was too lazy to vote in the mid-term. (Nothing new about that)

What is going on is not about some one person, it is about the general apathy and indifference, along with some messianic delusion someone else will pick up the tab. And, oh shit! It didn't happen. Let's crucify somebody. Hey guys, let's hang Obama!

I am not there. I might get there, but I am not there yet. The f...ing general public is in denial...asleep....this is why I wish a big asteroid would hit and wake the masses up. We are caught up in myopic narcissistic quarrels. Meanwhile, the bigger issues get bigger. I am alone in thinking we are really fucked?

Dan, I agree with everything you said. I also believe Olbermann would agree with you, as well.

I have been emailing the President 2 or 3 times a week since he took office, telling him exactly what I believe.

I receive an update from the White House everyday.

I am a member of his Organizing for America team. I have attended numerous meetings in person and on line.

I believe that I have a pretty good understanding of what he believes and at least some understanding of what he has had to endure as president.

With that said, I am still extremely disappointed in his willingness to compromise without first fighting for what is right.

I am also disappointed with how he has portrayed his base.

As Olbermann said it is not disloyal to tell the president he is wrong when he is wrong.
