A Few Thoughts for the President

Myth becomes reality when we do not speak up and counter the false narrative with the truth.

Compromise is what lies between duty and fear.

When we sacrifice what is just for what is almost just, we often lose our reputation and honor in the process.

Exposing oneself to danger and disgrace is neither practical nor wise.

The truest test of integrity is its refusal to be compromised.

What is temporarily expedient may be politically wise, but it will never be seen as courageous.

Giving without expecting anything in return is called love . . . except when you are dealing with your enemy, and then, it is called surrender.

Your enemy is someone who seeks to do you harm and is unwilling to give or cooperate in anyway, whatsoever.

Fools are those who cannot recognize their foes nor their friends.

Actually Dee, while I agree with these ideals I regret to inform you that there are two essential qualifications one must have to become a political candidate today:

1. Learn to 'sacrifice what is just for what is almost just', and..

2. Give up' your reputation and honor' (and join) the (political) process.

I suppose I'm longing for a statesman, for someone who I can respect for their integrity and impartial concern for the public good.

Well, me, too! But I would rather see such a person incite, and lead revolt, I am not sure it can be down from inside. I think Obama has such statesman-like qualities, but look...throw him into politics, and he already starts to appear lobotomized! He might have done better as a charismatic activist on the outside.

We need a peaceful revolution...a bloodless coup!...or a giant asteroid!
