From Dan

I wasn't sure how to leave this link as part of my comment, but it is a scene from the documentary 'Heartworn Highways' that I thought was quite moving . . . peace!  Dan

Hey, cool! I didn't know there was a better video out there than what I sent. Van Zandt did some great compositions. I always liked 'Fraulein' and there was another, I can't recall the name of, but it had poignant lyrics like:

"Well, my daddy said to me,
Son, it's hard as you can see
to find someone upon whom to rely,
Momma in the kitchen sneezed,
Papa grinned big as you please,
said 'Bless you.."
and a tear came to his eye."

(Of course, Pancho and Lefty is a classic!...an amazing and lyrical storyline...)

What a beautiful piece... a sad lament, a hobo's hopeless cry... just waitin' around... Thanks for posting that, hadn't heard it in a long time.
