Remembering Paul

Precious Memories

As I travel down life's pathway,
Know not what the years may hold.
As I ponder, hopes grow fonder,
Precious memories flood my soul

Precious father, loving mother,
Glide across the lonely years.
And old home scenes of my childhood
In fond memory appears.

Precious memories, how they linger,
How they ever flood my soul.
In the stillness of the midnight,
Precious sacred scenes unfold.

A very provocative melody , and my eyes filled in thinking of how the unthinkable has just taken place, and how fragile and vulnerable we are. There are many heavy hearts today in this circle of family and friends.

I know a little of what this post is about and am so sorry. I also know exactly how you all feel as I have been there. I wish I could say something wise and soothing but also know it takes time, and plenty of it, for the anguish to subside. My deepest sympathies... Staying together and love will get you thru...
