Max Baucus Targeted by the PCCC and Democracy for America

The Progressive Change Campaign Committee (PCCC) and Democracy for America have chosen to run a new round of advertising against Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, (D-Mont.) in an effort to persuade him to support a public option.















Though Baucus has indicated he might support a government run plan, it remains uncertain whether a public option will make it into the final version of his committee's bill.

Baucus has received 3.9 million dollars from health and insurance interests.
