Following up from Tuesday's post about Glenn Beck's corporate sponsors, here's some great news, from an e-mail sent to Daily Kos by Thornley Fallis Communications, Travelocity's public relations agency.
According to the e-mail, not only does Travelocity think it is important to make it clear they never specifically placed ad's on Beck's programming, they have now explicitly requested that their ads not appear on his show.
Just following up on your Daily Kos post about the Glenn Beck show earlier this week.
To clarify, please note that Travelocity did not specifically place its advertisements on the Glenn Beck program. Simply put, Travelocity buys ads in bulk and then they are placed somewhat randomly.
However, as of Monday Travelocity specifically asked that its ads do not appear during this show.
Congratulations to all the people who have been pressuring Beck's sponsors (and growing number of former sponsors) and kudos to Travelocity for doing the right thing.
