I'm told that you've pledged to volunteer for candidates and members of Congress who fight for health reform. OFA supporters have now pledged 4 million volunteer hours – an astounding number that could help us reach out to tens of millions of voters in pivotal races. Thank you.
This strategy of proving that health reform is not just good policy, but also good politics, is crucial to enacting a strong reform bill. And you are making it possible.
It's been a long fight, but your efforts and those of the OFA community have helped us make historic progress. And with your help, we'll finish the job.
Thank you again,
President Barack Obama
P.S. – The more volunteers we have, the stronger our movement is. Can you pass this note along to your friends and ask them to pledge a few hours, too?

Hi
I have read in your blog that you want to do good for people. If you are interested to work in Ethiopia and can raise money we can try to help some villagers of roughly 500-1000 people lead a better life. The major problem in Ethiopia as well as in other African countries is more political and the desire of the US Government to promote "friendly tyrants" as usual while talking of peace and democracy. According to Newton s law for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. So long there is state terrorism as is the case in Ethiopia, there will be a counter-reaction.
