Question: When will it be legally acceptable for a gay soldier to honestly state that he or she is gay without being dishonorably discharged?
Answer: Only after Congress and the Pentagon have thoroughly “studied,” the issue for another year or so – at least, long enough for frightened Democrats to use it as a campaign wedge and sexually-confused and homophobic Republicans denounce it as too disruptive to our military during a time of war.
