I met Phil Ochs in 1963 at the Bitter End on Bleeckers Street, Greenwich Village, New York City. That evening remains one of the many highlights of my life.
Tomorrow is Veterans Day, also know as Armistice Day (or Remembrance Day) in other parts of the world. November the 11th is the anniversary of the signing of the Armistice that ended World War I – the so-called "war to end all wars."

Unfortunately, until world governments can evolve up from the present kill-or-be-killed mode of conflict resolution, the marching will continue.
That's so great you got to meet him. You should definitely see the Phil Ochs documentary if you haven't already.
